Ready for the future

Where the safety of nanomaterials in consumer products and food or in the medical sector is at stake, the regulatory framework is often complex. To make sure that Swiss SMEs and start-ups wishing to bring innovative nanobased products to market do not go astray in this regulatory jungle and lose heart, contactpointnano.ch organises regular workshops. Participants learn about the practical implications of relevant regulatory provisions. They also have the opportunity to exchange views with other companies and public officials in an informal setting.

In 2020 – as soon as the corona crisis allows – a further series of hands-on workshops will provide an overview of the most important principles and methods for the characterisation of nanomaterials, which will be required by law from 2021.

”An excellent first event with an open atmosphere and a lot of opportunities for one-on-one discussions.”
